Jessica Melo's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! It is with great excitement that I announce this is the first year in the history of the Falmouth Road Race that the Sturge-Weber Foundation (SWF) has been named as one of the official non-profits in the Numbers For Non-Profits program. The SWF has been provided with five numbers, exempt from the lottery, with each runner committing to raise atleast $750 (and hopefully more).
In March of 2008 my son, Jameson was diagnosed with Sturge-Weber Syndrome after suffering a horrible fall. His diagnosis was a complete shock to all of us and turned our world upside down, but from the very beginning the staff at the Sturge-Weber Foundation has been there for us every step of the way. My husband, Octavio & I made a promise to Jameson that we would do everything in our power to raise as much awareness and funds as we possibly could so that one day a cure could be found. We hope you will help us in our quest to follow through with this promise!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! To read more about Jameson, go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/jamesonmelo/mystory.
