Greetings Friends:

Once again, I am raising money for our furry friends through the Walk for the Animals Walktoberfest that is run by the Humane Society of Berks County.  Since I am unable to walk this year (I will be out of town on the date of the walk), I have asked my good friend (and fellow animal lover) Maryann to step in for me as my "proxy" walker.  So, she'll be walking and I'll be raising money.  I'm hoping our team effort will show you how much we truly care about this cause.  

I would also like to dedicate my fund-raising this year to my girl, Daisy, who celebrated her 15th birthday this past June.  She's a little slower these days, but still the best kitty in the whole world!
