HUMANE SOCIETY OF SAN ANTONIO

Mutt Strutt 2009 San Antonio,  Texas

Jessica Sugg's Fundraising Page

Hello Everyone

It is estimated that San Antonio has over 100,000 homeless dogs -- dogs that were abandoned by their owners, lost, or born as strays.  That is heartbreaking!  That is one of the many reasons I am encouraging donations for The Humane Society SPCA of Bexar County.  They practice a no kill policy to all healthy, adoptable dogs.  They also help rescue the forgotten, abandoned, starved, and mis-treated lovable dogs and cats in our area.  They teach proper treatment of animals and promote wide adoption services to provide all who is in need of a companion, with love to last a lifetime.

Please help me boost the Humane Society's efforts by donating to a cause that is so near and dear to my heart.  The picture you see is of my little girl, Lyla, and one of our dogs, Cooper.  The bond that Lyla and Cooper already share is incredible.  What can we do to give back to our protectors.......our best friends.......our family???

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

*This is in honor of Turbo and Buddy*

Turbo was a basset hound mix that was was set to be euphonized  five minutes before I arrived, at a veterinarian hospital, because he had been abandoned there and they were not able to care for him.  He was a blessing to us for the three weeks we had him.  He is now one of the happiest basset hounds I have ever seen because he is with his new loving family, who adopted him!

Turbo sure held his own, running with our labs (the big boys)!...I believe that's where his name came from..."Turbo"

Buddy was a husky mix who we adopted from a Husky rescue who was slowly coming to the conclusion of euphonization for Buddy because he was an older fella and he was in-turn very scittish from a past abusive life.  We fell in love with Buddy so we had a hard time finding a home for him because we did not want to let him go.  Perfect Solution:  We talked my husband's parents into adopting him.  He was never so loved and cherished, than  he was, with them.  He passed away around a year ago after spending his golden years in his own heaven on earth!
