As you may know, I will be running the 111th Boston Marathon on April 16th, 2007.  More specifically, I will be running with Team Eye and Ear and raising funds to benefit the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  This is the second year that the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary will participate in the marathon, and I'm proud to be part of this team.

To be successful in running the marathon, all 26.2 miles, I will be training in some challenging New England weather, braving runs in the snow, sleet and ice.  To say training will be fun would be crazy, but it’s necessary to be ready on the big day!

 I have made a personal commitment to raise $3000 for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  This is an institution that is a world leader in treating people with hearing, vision, voice and balance problems and in finding better treatments thought research.

 I believe that raising a minimum of $3000 toward this cause is a goal worthy of my best efforts.  Your support as one of my sponsors is very much appreciated.
