At my 12 week ultrasound, as a parent I was told the worst news, that there was something seriously wrong with my baby. After being sent to a specialist, having several tests and ultrasounds, I was told my baby boy won't make it to birth and the best option was to have an abortion. On April 13, 2011 at 9:58 am at about 17 weeks, Nathaniel Young was stillborn. He was at birth 2.6 ounces and 5 inches long. He was not developed correctly and was underdeveloped for his age. He has had the hugest impact on my life by making me realize that life should not be taken for granted and that it is not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain. <3

One small star shines down from above, lighting the night sky with his love. He touches us softly with his light, reminding us he is now alright. One little spirit, gentle and strong, lives in our hearts, though he stayed here not long. In memory of him we'll seek to discover, the gifts he left for us to uncover. The gifts I know are ones of love as, one small angel watches from above. ♥
