Thank you for visiting my Ride ‘Round Rhody 2012 fundraising page!

This is the fourth time Jeff and I have participated in the annual bike-a-thon that raises critical funds for cancer treatment in Rhode Island. The ride has supported clinical trials that have a global impact, as well as complementary medicine, cancer patient navigation programs, general oncology services and equipment purchases, such as new infusion chairs at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

On August 12, I will once again be among more than one hundred cyclists and scores of volunteers working as one to fight cancer. The event is sponsored by both international and local businesses, and nearly 600 donations were made last year alone. In its first three years, RRR has raised more than $75,000 for local cancer treatment.
