As a member of the Special Olympics Youth Activation Committee, I have had the opportunity to participate in many SOCO events. I have volunteered at numerous SOCO sporting events, I have been a part of several R-Word Campaigns (Spread the Word to End the Word), and I have spoken to many organizations about Special Olympics. Most important of all, I have made friendships that will last a lifetime.

I have plunged for Special Olympics the last two years, and this will be my third plunge. Last year I was the top fundraiser at the Boulder Polar Plunge; I raised over $1200 for this wonderful organization.

I appreciate your support as I start to raise funds for the 2012 Special Olympics Boulder Polar Plunge. After the event, I will send you pictures of me Freezin' For a Reason!
