TRAINING EVANGELISTS IN AFRICA

Eternity Minded Ministries' next major ministry will be in Kampala, Uganda where the founder of Eternity Minded Ministries, Dan Owens, will be doing something that is very close to his heart.

EMM is going to Kampala to minister to East African itinerate evangelists. These men and women are as nearly like those who Jesus sent out in Luke chapter 10 as any you will ever know. Most of them go out from their homes to preach Jesus with nothing, because they have nothing; yet, God has called them to evangelize their part of the world. They often travel by simply walking from town to town just like the 70 that Jesus sent out, often crossing borders into hostile neighboring countries to share the love of Jesus.

None of these servants of the Lord could ever afford to go to an event planned especially for them where they would receive training and encouragement for the ministry God has called them to. We at EMM want to encourage these individuals by providing the funds needed to get them to the conference, provide their room and board in a make-shift dormitory, and allow them to spend 4 days with Dan and other experienced evangelists learning ways to become more effective soul winners.

There will be many learning opportunities for them, but there will also be times of prayer and sharing as they receive encouragement to keep going in the face of so many hardships.
