The Lowell Humane Society's 2nd Annual Steps for Pets is almost here. As Executive Director of the Lowell Humane Society, I urge you to help support a great cause.

This year I will be walking in memory of Keisha. Although we were only together for a little over 2 years (Kiesha was adopted at the age of 13), Keisha taught me how loving, loyal and greatful a elder dog can be. Although all animals in shelters need homes, I have a deep respect for those pets that have served their masters well, yet are disgarded during what should be their golden years.
