Once Again I am taking the plunge and representing GVSU Football as pictured.  Good thing the brain has a short memory for pain!  Why do it?  Well, the Polar Plunge is the primary fund raiser for Special Olympics of Michigan (SOMI).  We are not supported by United Way or other agencies and depend on donations to fund statewide athletic programs to benefit more than 20,679 children and adults with intellectual disabilities who live in Michigan.

I am fortunate to serve on the Board for SOMI, and I know first hand the impact that Special Olympics has on the lives of the athletes, their families, and the community volunteers.  We need your help.  Please consider a donation to make my plunge into freezing waters worth the effort!
