Sadly the cure was not found in time for Scotty. Thanks again to those who previously helped us keep hope alive for Scotty. Your generosity truly made a difference.
Our focus now turns to honoring his memory by continuing the fight for a cure. Please help if you can. Every dollar brings the cure closer and moves the chance of this tragedy repeating itself further away.

Below are the words of my brother-in-law, Scotty's Uncle Jim.
Imagine being told that your 18 month old son has Leukemia.
Imagine the pain of watching him as he suffers through Chemotherapy, Radiation and eventually a bone marrow transplant.
Imagine the stress of waiting for the results of the endless tests.
Imagine the roller coaster ride of being told that he is in remission, then that he has fallen out of remission or has some other problem associated with his treatment.
Imagine the joy of watching this boy grow into a passionate, sensitive young man, an advocate for the disabled, a role model to all his friends.
Imagine that at 16 he is diagnosed with a brain tumor, and that surgery is performed to remove it, followed by more chemo and radiation.
Imagine that at 19 yrs old, tests show that the tumor has returned, there is nothing more that can be done, and you are being sent home and told to enjoy what time you have left. Imagine watching your son slowly succumb to the brain tumor and never lose his faith, dignity, or sense of humor.
This is the story of my sister and brother-in-law and their son Scott Patrick Ross.
