Be a fan of excitement, chills and goodwill: Support my Polar Bear Plunge!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I was recently challenged by supervisors of the Commercial Motor Vehicle Division, Troop E, to take the plunge after seeing the news story on KFVS. As the coordinator in Troop E for Special Olympics, I am always looking for a way to raise funds for this worthwhile cause. I have challenged the CVE Supervisors that if they raise $3,000 for this cause then I will take the plunge by running into the freezing waters at Trail of Tears State Park, Cape Girardeau County, on Saturday, February 2. If $5,000 is raised, Sergeant Dale Moreland, Troop E Public Information Officer, will take the plunge with me. All the money raised through this effort will benefit Troop E's end of the year fundraising totals for Special Olympics. As I prepare to retire in September, Please help me go out with a BIG SPLASH by raising funds for this worhwhile cause. Please help Dale and me reach our goal of $5,000!
Thank you for your support and may God continue to Bless and protect you and your families!
Thanks!
Jim
