In June of 1999, my girlfriend's mother, Teresa, was diagnosed with a tumor in the core of her brain which was both inoperable and malignant. After a lengthy battle with radiation, her mother passed on October 19th 1999.

Although there was nothing we could've done for her, there is something we can all do for the millions of people who will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. I am walking along with family and friends for her mother, as well as for other patients, their families and friends. Together, we can help and give hope!
