I am planning to volunteer at Sonrie Ecuador Dental Clinic in Quito, Ecuador during the month of December.  
Many Ecuadorians suffer from caries due to lack of water fluoridation and limited access to dental care.
I will be engaging in clinical rotations where I provide dental care under supervision and taking Spanish classes to gain valuable knowledge and language skills.
I believe learning more about global health issues and health care systems in developing countries during this time will help me become a better health care provider in the future.
