This is my eighth season with the Boston Renegades and a great organization known as Association of Blind Citizens.  The Boston Renegades gives opportunities for indiviuals like myself with a visual impairment to play a sport I have grown to love known as Beep Baseball.  Your help and generosity is much appreciated (and a tax write off). 

 When I was growing up I was always the last one to be picked on a gym team due to my inabilities as an athlete and not for my heart or courage. I have found a sport that I can excel at as a blind person and that is Beep Baseball.  Beep baseball is where the ball has a beep and the bases have a tone.  You have six players who make up what is the defense.  To be picked as one of the six defensive players is a privilege.  When a player hits a ball and puts the ball into play.  The player runs to one of the bases randomly set off.  If the player reaches the base prior to the defense fielding the ball it is a run.   I was thrilled when in the early 2003 season  a friend introduced this sport to me.   I started to get my courage as a newly blinded athlete I was now finally part of a team that is caring as well as a family. 

I ask you my friends and family to please make a donation to my first giving page on my behalf.  Fundraising is the team's only source of income each and every dollar counts. Any and all contributions not only help myself and the team afford to travel throughout the country to compete against other teams in our sport but they help the team with equipment up keep.
