When Bill Spreitzer asked me to join his team and told me what they were raising money for, I knew that NOW was the time for me to run the marathon I had always told myself I couldn't do!!  My Mom, Marcia Rendleman, died of lung cancer two years ago.  Mom and I are in the picture to the left.  She was laughing and  enjoying her family only weeks before she passed away.  Running in this marathon is just one way to not only honor her but hopefully help others not have to endure this terrible disease.
