7th Annual New York Fun Walk for PH
Hello Friends and Family,
As you know, our Pulmonary Hypertension story is a family one. Mom's sister, Aunt Josie was only 23 years old when she was diagnosed and passed within a few months. John was diagnosed in 1995 and Joanne in 1998. We both entered clinical drug trials and wear pumps that deliver medication to our bodies 24/7.
We get treated by some two of the best PH specialists in the country in NY city and we know that we are incredibly lucky to have beaten the odds and continue to survive and thrive.
We ask for your help as we again raise money that will be delivered directly into the hands of medical researchers looking for better treatments and a cure for Pulmonary Hypertension. This is done through the national organization, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA). You can check out their website at: www.phassociation.org.
When John was diagnosed in 1995 there was 1 available drug to treat PH. Today there are 10 and that is due to research! Thank you SO much for your love and support.
To the cure!!!
John & Joanne
