I am on the Board of Directors for MAAV and I'm very proud to represent such an amazing organization.  As a medical social worker at MHW I come into contact with victims of domestic violence too often.  It is great to know there is such an amazing resource, MAAV, to give to my patients.  I trust and endorse the work MAAV does and have seen first hand how much they help victims, educate the community and advocated for prevention.  Domestic violence is something most of us have a connection to due to family or friends who have been in an unhealthy relationship.  We all need to do something to end violence and this is just one way I'm helping.
