This page is in honor of the memory of Filomena Abballe, loving wife, mother, and nonna (grandmother).  Your donations are appreciated and you are welcome to come and join the walk.  Scleroderma is not well known by many people.  This is a condition of hardening of the skin that can be disabling and disfiguring.   Scleroderma is a chronic, often progressive autoimmune disease - like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and multiple sclerosis - in which the body's immune system attacks its own tissues.  In severe cases,  organs such as the heart, lungs, kidneys and intestinal tract are damaged, in which this can be fatal.  Thank you for your support, every dollar counts!
