HI everyone. As godmother and friend to Izabelle and her family I wanted to help them in their efforts to raise money and awareness for the National Kidney Foundation. Lisa and I have been friends for over 20years and I have become a member of the Lopez family. It was at my 19th birthday party that Lisa and Jeremy met and very shortly after they began dating. Little did I know that 5yrs later I would be her maid of honor and now Izabelles godmother. Me and Lisa have always had some ups and downs but our friendship is too strong for anyone or anything to tear apart.  When Lisa was pregnant we were all excited to see her belly grow and decorate the baby’s nursery. Although she bossed me around quite often because she too lazy to do anything it was a great experience to have with her. When Izabelle was born I was right there in the waiting room just patiently waiting to welcome the little angel. On August 5th, 2007 she made her debut. Little did we know that the little angel we all waited for was actually going into kidney failure. I couldn’t imagine what Lisa and Jeremy were going through. All I knew is I had to be there for them and for her family. As we all prayed and shared the story to encourage other people to pray, Izabelle began to get stronger and she did a complete turn around. After spending 22 days in the hospital, 6 surgeries and 2weeks of dialysis Izabelle went home. Now she is doing great and she is getting stronger by the day. Not only did Lisa and Jeremy go through a difficult time but so did all of their families and friends. Doing little things like this is a way that family and friends can show Jeremy, Lisa and Izabelle that we support them and will help them in anyway we can.
