This year I'm walking for Shepherd Home, Teri and my mom, who says I will love a nice walk in the park. What I would really like is to walk for all the people who will sponsor me and help the people at Shepherd Home.
Vincenza Capozzi, mother of Teri Capozzi (our Captain and esteemed team leader), was laid to rest last year at the same time Assisi was having its first peace walk. Those from Assisi Institute gave a wonderful gift of prayer for Vincenza to speed her on her way “Home.” This year, I wish to walk for Assisi, Shepherd Home and in honor of Teri's beautiful Vincenza, to celebrate her 1st anniversary of making spaghetti from scratch for Jesus and the whole Holy Family!
By walking for Vincenza and the wonderful residents, past, present and future, of Shepherd Home, we celebrate the beauty and courage of lives well spent and ended with peace and dignity. Assisi Institute is dedicated to help all men, women and children live in dignity and work toward peace.
