Hello Friends,

Thanks for visiting my personal fundraising page for Team Brigham & Women’s Hospital! 

 

This cause/foundation personally hits close to home with me – my sister Jen has undergone three kidney transplants, two of which were at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.  Ironically enough I actually work at Brigham & Women’s hospital servicing Healthcare equipment, home away from home at times…  Working at this facility I’ve met some excellent friends and seen first hand what it takes to provide the ‘best’ healthcare in the world.

 

This years Boston Marathon is special since my sister has once again been given the ‘gift of life’ kidney transplant from a family member that is also running the Marathon, under the National Kidney Foundation.  Both my sister and the donor’s health were cared for at Brigham following the transplant and the hospitals continued care has been excellent since, they are both doing great!

 

My personal goal is to reach my fundraising target of $3000 and finish strong along with my cousin and uncle who are also running, and of course – Team Brigham!
