Thanks for visiting our Personal Fundraising Page. As a member of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Chapter CA-VII, SF Bay Area, Deborah and I have once again chosen the PBTF as our fund raising charity for this year.
If you are not familiar with the PBTF-Ride for Kids, please go to their web site (see below) and read about the wonderful work they do! Many of the advances in finding a cure for this form of childhood cancer are directly related to fund raising by this Foundation.
PBTF/RideforKids provides research grants to the nation's leading medical institutions. Through research, new therapies are being developed to extend the lives of these children and, we hope, bring an end to this terrible desease.
PBTF donations also go towards awarding scholarships to brain tumor patients studying at technical and vocational schools as well as those attending junior colleges and four year colleges and universities. Since 2002 more than 250 students have been able to continue their education with the help of donations collected from sites like this one. Please give what you're comfortable giving. There is no minimum, and certainly no maximum!
