Hello,
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF NORTHWEST FLORIDA.
Donating through this website is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most effiicient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks to your support- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Triathlon Juggling:
My goal is to complete the Flora-Bama Mullet Man Triathlon on April 21, 2012 while JUGGLING the entire race. If achieved, this goal will be a world record that's never been attempted before.
I will swim and juggle 1/4 mile, bike and juggle 17 miles, and finish the race by running and juggling (joggling) 4 miles. You may ask: how in the world is he going to do that? I had to ask the same thing. After many months of planning, experimenting, training, and fine-tuning I am confident that it can be done safely, efficiently, and while having fun.
Background and Charity Goal:
My career as a mental health counselor has allowed me to counsel and help children and their families. As a juggler, I have shared my talents to teach, entertain, and inspire others to reach their goals and improve their enjoyment of life. As a father and counselor, I am advocate for children's health and well-being.
Families need so much support when their child is undergoing medical treatment. Think about how many things these famlies have to 'juggle" when going through a child's medical treatment. (Food and lodging, expenses, clothing, transportation, appointments, ongoing hospitalizations, finding support, etc.) The support and help provided to these families through the Ronald McDonald House helps lessen the stress associated with these challenges. It really makes a difference.
So, to help support this wonderful charity, please make a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of NorthWest Florida.
My world record juggling attempt pales in comparison to the balancing acts these families face. When you donate, you're giving these families a place where they can restore their strength and balance. Life hands us a lot of juggle, so thankfully we have others like you to help out along the way.
Best Regards,
Joe Salter
