John Bode's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Here I go again! My third year!
Back in May, I spent two days and biked the Katy Trail from Clinton to St. Charles. When all was said and done it was about 241 miles. Many friends says I should have used that opportunity to raise funds for one of my causes. I hadn't considered that, but should have. It was a personal goal that I wanted to accomplish, by myself and without any overhead. However, I wish I had thought about incorporating fundraising into the ride.
Well, that's where you can come in. I was thinking, why not? I'm thinking a dime or a nickel per mile would be a great, easy amount that anyone could contribute to help me reach my highest goal yet!
And if you're really ambitious, donate that same amount for my upcoming rides! That's right! This year I'm riding for AIDS Bicycle Challenge and the MS150. Together, the three events will total around 450 miles.
So consider helping me out and donate to one (or both) of my rides. You can do it right here for the AIDS Bicycle Challenge or main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR/Bike/MOSBikeEvents for the MS150.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
THANK YOU!
