Climbing for Learning - Nianjema
Thank you for visiting the "Climbing for Learning - Nianjema" fundraising page!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
From December 1 through December 21, I will be attempting to summit Mount Vinson, the hightest peak in Antarctica at 16,067 ft (4897 m). As part of this climb and an attempt to summit the highest mountains on all seven continents, I am working to raise money and awareness of a special school in Tanzania Africa that is bringing educational opportunties and hope to over 300 girls and boys. You can learn more about the school at: www.tanzaniaeducation.org.
The goal this year is to reach 1,000 donors! And, I would like to ask you for only a $25 donation - and to forward this request to 3 other people who may not have heard about the Nianjema School.
You can follow along and read about the climb at http://carneyblog.typepad.com/climbingforlearning-vinsn/. (The YouTube video on the left is from last year's climb on Mount McKinley.)
Many thanks for your support -- and please, please forward this to friends and family!!
