From May 7 through some day near the end of May, I will be attempting to summit Mount McKinley, the hightest peak in North America at 20,320 ft (6194 m).  As part of my climb, I am working to raise money and awareness of a special school in Tanzania Africa that is bringing educational opportunties and hope to 300 girls and boys.  You can learn more about the school at:  www.tanzaniaeducation.org.

The temperature on Denali this week above 17,000 ft is a high of -10 F (-23c) and a low of -30 F (-34c)!  Yes, I brought my warm underwear... I just hope it's enough!!  You can read about the climb at http://carneyblog.typepad.com/triandclimb_denali/.
