John Clifton's Fundraising Page
Dear Friends,
Our first 2010 fundraiser for Special Olympics Georgia kicks off Saturday, February 20, when we join other Metro Atlanta law enforcement agencies for the first Polar Plunge!
Here's how it works: participants (us/you) collect pledges from friends and family in exchange for the opportunity to jump/plunge into the icy waters at Lake Lanier Islands.
Anyone with the guts -- and the heart -- is invited to particate. It's a fun opportunity for school clubs/community service clubs/church groups to challenge each other in raising funds and taking the plunge!
All proceeds collected by “plungers” benefit the non-profit organization, which supports more than 22,000 intellectually disabled children and adults in Georgia.
Prizes will be awarded in several categories (oldest plunger, youngest plunger, best “group” plunge, best costume, etc.).

Thank you for your continued support of the JCPD's fundraising efforts for Special Olympics Georgia.
Sincerely,
Major John Clifton (678-512-3200)
