Scrabbling for CCA at the National SCRABBLE® Championship
Hello. My name is John Dalton. My lovely firstborn daughter Elizabeth (age 6) was born with a rare craniofacial condition called Apert Syndrome. Many children with this and related conditions benefit from the Children's Craniofacial Assocation (CCA) based in Dallas, Texas (www.ccakids.org).
I am a nationally ranked SCRABBLE® player who competed in the National SCRABBLE® Championship (NSC) in Addison, Texas. This was a marathon of a tournament, running for five days and 31 games, from August 6 through August 10, 2011. It is organized by the North American SCRABBLE® Players Association (www.scrabbleplayers.org).
I created this page to support the Children's Craniofacial Association because I want to help other families with children who have a craniofacial difference, just like Elizabeth. Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a tax deductible donation today. Any amount will be much appreciated.
One suggestion is a $1, $2 or $3 donation for each game that I compete in or win during the NSC. All donations will go to the Children's Craniofacial Assocation.
You can find the results of the tournament here:

Thank you for your reading, and for your consideration and support.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Please feel free to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too (http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/john-dalton/nsc2011).
Sincerely,
John Dalton
