Thank you for visiting the official Give Kids The World event page to help NASCAR Nationwide racing series fans, driver Tony Stewart, the Joe Gibbs Racing Team, and Old Spice build new dreams for the children of Give Kids The World Village!
During the August 16th Michigan CARFAX 250 NASCAR Nationwide race, Tony Stewart will be driving the #20 car with a new look specially designed by Emily Marsala, a Wish child who knows the healing power of Give Kids The World (GKTW). Every donation you make in support of the GKTW car will help make dreams come true for special children with life-threatening illnesses, like Emily. Our goal is to raise at least $100 for each mile of the race.
Give Kids The World Village is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a week-long, cost-free fantasy vacation. To date, Give Kids The World has welcomed more than 88,000 families from all 50 states and over 65 countries.
Give Kids The World has made a promise to never turn away a child in need. Each year 27,000 children in the US are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Half of those children will make their dream wish to visit the world-famous attractions in Central Florida. Currently, for 70 percent of the year, the Village has over 100 percent occupancy, meaning some families must stay in a nearby hotel during their Wish Trip. For this reason, Give Kids The World Village is in the midst of its largest expansion project in its history.
To accommodate every child, GKTW is currently doubling in size, so that 196 family villas will be onsite, available to make dreams come true. Every person you tell about the Village and its mission, will help bring GKTW one step closer to achieving this goal.
Donating through this site is simple, fast, and totally secure. To learn more about GKTW log on to
