Dear Friends and Family,

On May 2nd, 2010 I am taking on the challenge of running in the Pittsburgh Marathon and will run it on behalf of the Pittsburgh Promise.  

Every year the Promise contributes funds to a scholarship for any and all Pittsburgh Public School students of strong academic standing and character to attend college in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Promise has  received pledges and donations from many of Pittsburgh's prominent organizations such as UPMC and the Pittsburgh Teachers Federation and through private donations by individuals like yourselves.
