Emily and I are planning to participate in a fundraiser for Vail Place where our daughter Katie Berfeldt works to provide community life and much needed services for persons with mental illness.  This is especially important this year since state budget cuts will affect the people Vail Place serves.

We will be walking with Katie and her team around Lake Calhoun on Saturday, July 25.  Hence the team name "Berfeldt Bing Bongs."  We like to walk, so it will be good exercise for us, and we think it is a worthwhile cause.

No pressure whatsover, but we are making a donation to participate, and we welcome any donations in support of our efforts on behalf of Vail Place.
