Andrew's ASF Walk Donation Page As many of you know, my youngest son Andrew has Angelman Syndrome. This genetic disorder is very rare and until recently (1997) there was very little known about it. The past nine years have been positive and with the help of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, recent years have brought collaboration and support for families. Each year the ASF National Walk-a thon has grown to include more sites and collect more money for research. My family and friends will be taking part in our 4th walk on May 20. Please support our cause by making a donation. You can use this site or contact me directly. Your support is very meaningful to me personally and to the few thousand kids and adults who are affected by Angelman Syndrome. Our walk theme each year is "One Step Closer" and with your support we will again move forward toward enhancing the lives of our Angels and finding a cure.If you would like to learn more about Angelman Syndrome, Please contact me and I will be happy to share with you. Our you can vist the ASF home page at www.angelman.org.With heart felt gratitude,John Heinzmann and FamilyPS: You can also help to increase awareness about Angelman Syndrome by purchasing and wearing our blue "Band of Angels".
