Once again this year I will be running the Chicago Marathon to help raise money for Team World Vision.  This will be my 2nd year running and I hope to improve not only my finish time but especially my post-race condition.  Last year our group raised over $50,000, which was used to drill wells in an area of South Africa where children and adults were dying for lack of clean water;  but not any longer.  Still, there are many others who will die without our help.

This is not about the running, but about the lives that are saved as a result of extra effort by caring people.  I'll do the training and the running, but without your financial support it's just a lot of nothing.  THANKS TO THOSE WHO HELPED LAST YEAR AND FOR WHAT I HOPE MORE OF YOU WILL DO THIS YEAR.
