So many people I know are being affected by some form of cancer.  Each one can have a devastating affect on the lives of those with the disease, and the lives of their friends and family.  A diagnosis is a life changing event, and very frightening.  There are people out there, survivors, volunteers, Doctors, Nurses, and those friends and family I mentioned earlier, working to help those suffering.  I choose to support the American Cancer Society because they fight all types of the disease on many different levels.

There are a number of places you can donate, so as an incentive, my company HappyGlyphs Comics and I have created special gifts to encourage you to donate here for the American Cancer Society.  First is an exclusive cloissone pin featuring the HappyGlyphs Sheep and a thank you card featuring special artwork that I created of the Knight Family in Disneyland.  Also, when we reach $1000, I will randomly choose a lucky donor to win the original art for this card!  If you're not an art collector, the lucky winner may choose any of my books as a substitute.
