With today's economy many people are losing jobs, forced out of their homes and having more and more trouble paying bills.  It is through the generosity of people like you that allow organizations such as North Jersey Media Group Foundation (NJMGF) to assist in a time of need.  NJMGF collects donations year-round to assist North Jersey families by providing funds for food, clothing and shelter, and help with medical needs. 

To raise money for the Foundation, I've enlisted the help of my Dad, Bob Meyer, who is an avid runner and who will be running the 26.2 Mile New Jersey Marathon on May 3, 2009. I've asked him to run it in support of the Foundation. Here's how it works - I am asking you to to cheer on my father and to make a donation for each mile he runs. You can donate a dollar per mile ($26), $.50 per mile ($13), $.25 per mile $7.50) or any flat amount.

 Donating through First Giving is simple, fast, and secure. Alternatively, please send me a check payable to North Jersey Media Group Foundation no later than May 2, 2009.
