Thank you very much for taking the time to visit Yoyo's donation page. This page is to help Karma Rescue raise the funds to pay Yoyo's vet bill while she fights to stay alive with PARVO. 

On Saturday (9/4/10), Yoyo, a 10 week old female puppy, was rescued from a breeder who was breeding Pit Bulls for fighting.  Ironically enough the person that rescued her used to be part of the Pit Bull fighting world and has since had a change of heart.  He was wanting to do the right thing by rescuing her from the breeder.    

Karma Rescue was quick to respond to his plea to find a safe home for Yoyo and placed her in a foster care.  When she was first rescued she appeared to be a healthy happy puppy, but it was not long before Yoyo's foster parents started to notice a difference in her behavior.  When she began to act lethargic, stopped eating and began throwing up they knew something was wrong and started to worry.  Once she was examined by Karma's vet, they discovered that she has the deadly puppy virus PARVO and began treatment immediately. 

Yoyo is currently under 24 hour veterinary care receiving treatment for PARVO. She is expected to be at the vet for at least a week!

If it wasn't for the quick response, and tireless dedication of Karma Rescue's team this loving young puppy may not have had a second chance to begin with. Now we need your help to let her live that second chance!

Yoyo's week long stay at the vet to save her life is expected to cost $1,200.  Any donation you can afford is appreciated and will go directly to Karma Rescue to be used toward her veterinary expenses.
