35th Annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon 10/07/2012.
In 2011, forty-nine Misericordia Heartracers raised over $80,000 and invaluable community awareness about Misericordia by running in the Chicago Marathon. The 2011 Heartracer team doubled 2010's fundraising total and we are very grateful to every runner!
Our athletes have walked away with new friends, amazing accomplishments and the sense that they achieved something beyond getting in good shape and competing in the race. Contributions to Misericordia raised by our team members are most gratefully received and support the vital programs that enrich the lives of more than 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities who call Misericordia ‘Home’
