The Bruce Kaye Brain Tumor Foundation's 2nd Annual 5K Fall Fun Run/Walk will be held Saturday, October 9th on the trails at Granite Bay Beach, Folsom Lake State Park and I hope you'll join me for a great day in support of a great cause.
 
Many of you know that my family founded The Bruce Kaye Brain Tumor Foundation (BKBTF) shortly after my Dad died in 2006 and we're still hard at work to take all that we've learned and make a difference in the lives of individuals and families facing a brain cancer diagnosis. We've recently launched a comprehensive website to arm patients with well-rounded information on various treatment options (please visit www.brucekayefoundation.org) and currently sponsor over 15 patients who would otherwise be unable to afford their complementary treatment protocols.
 
BKBTF seeks to change the outlook of brain cancer and lead efforts to find a cure, delivering support and hope to patients and their families along the way.
  
There are two ways you can help:
 
1.  I hope you'll consider joining me for the race and spreading the word about BKBTF.  Registration is $40 + an optional fundraising goal. Once you register through firstgiving.com, your own personalized web page will be set up for you making it easy to contact family and friends and track progress towards your goal.  Even if you can’t be in Granite Bay the day of the event, I encourage you to participate “virtually” and do a 5K in your own area at your favorite park or trail.
 
2.  Pledge support of my run on October 9th. Any amount makes a difference!
