Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  I am so excited to be running for Team Samaritan's Purse. This not my first marathon but it will be the one that means the most to me. I have run in several 5k's, 15K's, half marathons and one full marathon. I have never been connected to the causes but was more involved for the race. This time is different. 

As most of you know I have been on a mission trip to Haiti and Ethiopia. Both trips I experienced the true meaning of poverty. I realized all the things I take for granted, water being one of them. I saw the women in Ethiopia carrying the jugs on their head, barefoot, uphill, on the side of the road, etc. I saw the constant need for clean water. I am so honored to run this marathon for the people of Niger - to run that they may have clean water!

Thank you for joining me on this great mission! Thank you for being a part of my team. Thank you for supporting Samaritan's Purse and the people of Niger!!! Thank you for allowing me to run so they don't have to!
