On December 21,2011, the Lakeland Police Deparment said goodbye to one of our own after he was needlessly gunned down while protecting the citizens of Lakeland. This is my first year participating in the Police Unity Tour and I consider it a priviledge to honor the legacy of the men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I have been a police officer for fourteen (14) years and my participation in this ride is on behalf of the many members of my department and brothers and sisters throughout the state of Florida. Your financial support will help me make this once in a lifetime opportunity, a reality. This Memorial and the future building of the Museum are a vital part of American History and I want to do my part to solidify that it is a part of history. My fellow brothers and sisters killed in the line of duty also deserve the right to be memorialized for the sacrifice they made.
I truly appreicate any donation given as part of the 250 mile bicycle ride I will be doing in May of 2012. I am not normally good at asking for money so I thank you in advance for any help. Please visit www.nleomf.com also for information on the Memorial and http://www.policeunitytourviii.org/ for more information on the Police Unity Tour.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
