Yes...year #4 for Jon doing the polar plunge for Special Olympics Nebraska. 2010 is very special because the National Special Olympic Games will be held right here in Lincoln.  This year's plunge will be on Saturday  February 27th.

For last year's plunge the temperature was 5 degrees with a wind chill of about -20...but in I went and surpassed our fundraising goal of $5,000.  We're going to try and shatter that with $6,000 this year for this great cause which is so important to our family.

I promise the works this year....photos, youtube video...it will all be posted for the world to see me dive into the icy waters of Holmes Lake.

Donating through this site is not only simple and secure, but it is a fast and efficient way to support over 4,000 children and adults who participate in the sports, leadership and training programs offered by Special Olympics Nebraska.
