Jon Wilson's Fundraising Page
Hello Everyone,
As most of you know what we went thru losing Brian, then you know how strong he was through the entire time. This picture was taken for Christmas 2003. At that time he knew he only had a few months to live. He loved everyone and his brothers the most. He didn't feel the need for school much other than a visit now and then. So when he thought we were not paying any attention he would be in his room packing, whistling and singing. He was packing all his toys and models for his brothers to have for their birthdays and Christmas presents for the years to come. He always thought of everyone else before himself. He was giving gifts out as fast as he could make them. So for those lucky ones that were able to know him and receive a gift, (I still find them in offices and homes when I visit) you know what he was like. If you didn't get one, it wasn’t because he didn’t want to, he just ran out of time. He wanted to get a gift to everyone he knew!
I can go on and on about what it was like but no need. His battle (and ours) is over. But not for other families! Kids are still dying from this and it is so hard to lose anyone let alone a child.. I know times are hard but if you can find a way to donate to this cause, even if it is just a little bit, it helps. The foundation did so much for Brian and us. They are really searching for a cure and better treatments. The local fund raisers are worked by volunteers and are not paid. Look them up. You can't find a better charity! Yes I feel partial but you can check just the same!
If you want to send a check instead please make sure it gets to me before APR 23rd and make it out to:
