What can you do to change the lives of some of the 40% of our world living on $2 or less a day? More than you might think, with less than you might realize. Join us for the 2012 Walk for Economic Empowerment and 100% of the funds you raise will go to one of nine indigenous Christian microfinance organizations empowering over 150,000 of the materially poor in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, or Eastern Europe.
Click "Register", choose a venue/date (including wherever and whenever is most convenient for you - see options below), pay the $20 registration fee, and create your own fundraising webpage. You can also choose which specific microfinance partner you would like to direct your funds to (or to where it is needed most) and create a team of walkers within your family, church, school, etc. Then distribute your webpage link to family and friends and you will be well on your way to providing opportunity for the materially poor!
Thank you for empowering the materially poor through the 2012 Walk and helping us reach our $50,000 goal! May you be blessed as you take part in this Kingdom-extending event.
