Coasters for a Cure is an event that my wife and I dreamed up as an extended vacation in 2010. Integrating our love for roller coasters and our desire to see a cure for pancreatic cancer, the idea behind Coasters for a Cure is to engage the community with the unique combination of pancreatic cancer awareness and roller coasters. All summer long, we will be selling tickets online to Kings Island amusement park, and a portion of the ticket cost will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. In memory of my father Edward Lepolt, who loved roller coasters, my wife and I are encouraging supporters to visit Kings Island on October 15, 2011, where together we can spread our message and raise awareness for pancreatic cancer.

Together with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) we have set a goal to raise $3000, which will be use to help fund research and provide support for existing pancreatic cancer patients.
