Jonie Higgins's Page
Thank you for visiting our page again this year!
This page is dedicated in Loving Memory of my Twin Sister, Janie Wiegel, whom I lost at age 7 to a Pediatric Brain Tumor. This is a picture of Janie and I with Santa about 2 years before she died - she's the pretty one! Janie was our Special Angel and although it’s been over 35 years since we lost her – she is in our hearts and minds everyday.
Today, thanks to the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, children with tumors like Janie’s have a much greater chance at survival and have much less invasive treatment options available to them.
My husband Craig (Bama/Higgins) and I got involved with the South Florida Ride for Kids event a few years back and we were so impressed with the event that we decided to get even more involved. Last year our efforts were very successful thanks to many of our great friends all over the country and our friends Sherry and Pat Palmer help us out and made it our best year ever!
More research needs to be done to find a cure – and that’s why we need you! For those of you that ride motorcycles in the South Florida area, we look forward to seeing each of you on Sunday April 15th at Quiet Waters Park. For those of you that are not in the South Florida area, we hope that you will make whatever donation you can to help find a cure for these terrific kids!

Thank you for supporting this great cause and helping today’s children so that they do not have to suffer like Janie did!
Thanks for your help and God Bless you! Jonie & Craig Higgins
