As you know or may not know I am currently studying at NYU. I am also on the NYU cycling team. As a combination of my public advocacy as an educator and my love for the bicycle is that I want to do something really good and powerful for someone else.

On September 28-30th, 2012, there is a Cycling ride from Boston to New York (more than 300 miles) called Braking the Cycle.

To be a part of this meaningful adventure, I need to raise USD 3.500.00 that will be beneficial to the New York City Housing Works's agenda.

The Housing Works organization provides many services to AIDS patients: Medical and mental health services, housing support, job training, and much more. In particular, they fight for housing rights, education and advocacy.

Queridos amigos,
Como ya saben, actualmente estoy estudiando en la Universidad de New York y al mismo tiempo soy parte del equipo de ciclismo de esta. Como resultado de mi dedicación como profesor y mi amor por la bicicleta, es que he decidido hacer algo realmente bueno y poderoso por alguien más.
El próximo 28 al 30 de Septiembre del corriente, se realizara una ruta en bicicleta desde Boston a New York (alrededor de 480 kilómetros) llamada Braking the Cycle.
Para ser parte de esta significativa aventura, necesito reunir la suma de $ 3.500 dólares los cuales serán destinados a Housing Works en New York.
Housing Works provee diferentes servicios a paciente con SIDA: asistencia médica y servicio de salud mental, además de alojamiento, entrenamiento laboral y mucho más. En general, esta organización lucha por los derechos, educación y desarrollo.
