The Metropolitan Music cycling team is a group of 6 friends who are participating in the Harpoon Point to Point ride (August 15, 2009) for the third consecutive year, raising money to support the Vermont Food Bank in their efforts to feed the hungry in that state. Last year, we raised the most money (just under $2000) of all the 15 teams that took part in the ride. This year the 6 of us will each ride 110 miles from Williston, VT to Windsor, VT hoping to reach a total of $3000.
