Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I got a late start this year but hopefully I can raise just as much as last year!! Representing for the Jersey City Police South District !!
As most of you know I am a repeat participant in the Police Unity Tour, this year will be my second year as a member of the Tour and last year was an amazing experience to me. The “Unity Tour” is a 300 + mile bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington DC, our motto is “We Ride for Those Who Died”. My first year as a participant in the Unity Tour I really did it because I wanted to see what it was like, everyone always said “it’s an experience” so I did it. And that was all it took for me, it was SUCH an overwhelming, humbling, and emotional experience to be part of something so much greater yourself. On the final day of the tour you ride into the Police Officers Memorial and see all the Names on the wall of our Brothers and Sisters in Blue that have made the ultimate sacrifice and the Survivors they have left behind, Husbands, Wives, Sons, Daughters, Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sister, Aunts Uncle, and those who have just been touched. And it pulls at every ounce of emotion you have, they are grateful that you are riding for someone they love who can’t. It is truly humbling!
As part of being a rider in the Police Unity Tour each rider is required to $1750.00 to participate in the in the ride. This money will go toward the Police Officer Memorial Museum.
Your donation is greatly appreciated by me and all the members of law enforcement. It is an honor and privilege to make the journey from New Jersey to the Police Memorial in Washington DC in memory of my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Blue that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
