On May 10, 2012, I will again have the honor of participating in the Police Unity Tour. The Police Unity Tour was organized with the hope of bringing public awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices. The second purpose is to raise money for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.

Every May 15th during “National Police Memorial Week” a ceremony is conducted at the Law Enforcement Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. This event is preceded by a 200+ mile bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington D.C. Law Enforcement Officers from all over the United States participate in the ride each year.

I would like to elicit your support in fulfilling my goal to participate in this ride by asking for your donations. I am required to raise $2,000 to participate in this event and it is a tax deductible donation to the “National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund”
